ESTEVES GROUP
In 1996 the Dutch holding company Diamond Tools Group BV (DTG) purchased and merged Esteves SA and PDT Diamond Tools BV. This merger created a unique partnership between two diamond tool manufacturers recognized worldwide for the high quality and precision of their products. Both companies operated under the common name of ESTEVES-PDT Diamond Tools. This new partnership included production and service plants in Spain, The Netherlands, Mexico, and Brazil.
Two new acquisitions were added in 1998: UKD (Germany and Poland), and Decatur Wire Die Services, with five plants and service units in the U.S.A.
In order to clearly represent the presence of the company in the European and American markets our name became ESTEVES-DWD in 2001.
In 2004 ESTEVES-DWD seriously considered the dramatic growth of Asian markets. As a result, a fully equipped manufacturing plant was established in Shanghai, P.R. of China.
With our commitment to a constantly growing Global market our name was changed to ESTEVES GROUP in April of 2008. Official presentation of the new name will take place during the WIRE’08 Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany on 31 March - 4 April, 2008.
